We FINALLY have a listing!!!!!

I know it's not a boy doll...I promise he IS coming! This is "Selahbelle"...one of the new girl Gummies! She has smooth lavender minky and a cheerful aqua floral dress. I only have 1 listed but I make all my Gummies as they're ordered...so there is plenty of fabric ready to go!!

**UPDATE 5-1-09** When I got home this evening I was surprised and excited to see that Selahbelle had already sold!!! I've already relisted a few more and plan to get the boys up next week. I'm so excited she sold in less than a day of being listed!!!

What's taking so long??

I promise I have a good reason for the delay with the Gummies. It's been busy around here. Last week I got the crazy idea that I would teach myself to smock and surprisingly, that's not the crazy part. I'm smocking my daughter's Easter dress...which means I'm on a time crunch! So far the smocking is going great! Look out for smocked outfits in the near future!!!

So back to the Gummies...it looks like it'll be after Easter before they're ready. I'll be sure to post as soon as they're here! Thank you for being so patient!! :o)

Boy Gummie Dolls are coming soon!!!

I've had a lot of interest recently in the boy Gummie and I promise he is on the way! I hope to have him posted next week or the beginning of the following week. He will have overalls and spiky hair.

Gummie Doll - Pattie

An early favorite for my daughter was chewing on a burpcloth...which sadly was a plan white cloth diaper. It was then I started brainstorming for a more fun alternative. After a friend of mine made her a taggie, I thought we had found our solution! She loved it at first. So much, in fact, that I made her a couple more...it's always good to have backups!

Unfortunately, the taggie appeal wore off and she moved to stuff animals. So I thought...surely I can combine the 2. We call her "Gummie" b/c before our daughter's teeth came in...she loved to gum this little doll and that's how her "Gummie Doll" was born!
